Mad themer

So OK, so I've spent the last hour and a half looking at all the damn themes for this thing.  How am I supposed to choose between Oddities Blue and Espresso Midnight??  Between Scraps Green and something that looks like a map of the London Underground???  Perhaps I will change it on a daily basis ("I'm NOT schizophrenic, I'm not, I'm not, I'm NOT!!!").  It occurs to me that there should be a word for when a given technology shifts from a tool to an accessory, and one suddenly has to choose colors and patterns as though it were curtains.  Like a five-year-old dressing her dolls, will I have to dress my LJ each morning?  The mind boggles...
