This sounds like so much fun! I remember that episode of Trilogy of Terror with the African statue! Karen Black played the bedeviled woman. I was quite young at the time, remember, but it scared the bejesus out of me, LOL! I had a thing about making sure none of my limbs hung over the bed side of the bed when I went to sleep, and that the closet door was closed, because something might lurk in the darkness just waiting for me. I don't know why I didn't think it could just reach up from under the bed and grab me or figure out how to open the closet door itself. Obviously I did not think it out very well.
