Another thing I find really funny, for all that I am childless, is "The Story About the Baby," by Jeff Vogel. (Jeff Vogel is an indie game developer who makes old-school computer RPG's.)
The only thing they have in common is that Shamus (the author of "DM of the Rings") and Jeff Vogel are both into computer games and have both written funny things. I hope that's enough connection for me to recommend it. :-)
