I do want to see it, yes! I wasn't sure when I first heard about it -- I adore the book so I'm very protective of how it exists in my head, and therefore hesitate to see things that might mess with it (see, for example, LOTR). But this one looks promising, what with a woman directing and so many great people involved. Stephen Colbert has had several of the young actresses on his show lately to talk about it and they all seemed so enthusiastic!

Did you see the modernized version that came out last year? I was intrigued by it but it came and went so quickly I didn't have a chance to see it.
