Still on the mental comfort food kick. Must be the swine flu and the economy. Love the story about the woman from the regional headquarters for birth control LOL!! Have just discovered there's a proper biography of the mother, which I must now track down and read.

I loved those books. I read them years and years ago. A real biography of the mom? WOW!!!!! So cool.

Yes! You always knew she had to be something special, even though the book concentrated on their dad. Can't wait to track it down...

I must have read this book a couple dozen times as a kid. I'm pretty sure I still wash myself the way they did.
