Thanks to everyone who has sent birthday greetings, birthday wishes, and birthday prezzies, most especially rivertempest who sent me a mug with some gorgeous Severus art and the most incredible selection of teas I have ever seen, based on Supernatural, complete with special thingy for steeping!



Bobby Singer's blend has actual gunpowder in it. I'm a little worried about that one :O

And my dear Mr Psmith, who took me out to a NOMZ dinner and bought me the most lovely roses ever which currently have pride of place on the piano:

It only has that name because it looks like gunpowder pellets. ;) It's actually very delicious! Mmmmm... tea!

Whew, I feel better now. So far I like Dean the best, but The Impala is quite excellent as well. I'm so much enjoying working my way through them all, and since we're in a gigantic cold snap (temp right now is a balmy THREE DEGREES) the hot beverage is very welcome!

I can only imagine the snow and cold there (ours is similar except not as much snow). Why, it's a balmy 7 today, with wind chill of -10. Lovely, no? ;)

Yeah, when I first encountered gunpowder tea, I gave my husband a 'you expect me to drink this?' sort of look. Then he explained the origins of the name and it was all good. hehehe I like to blend flavors (try a spoonful of Dean with a spoonful of Impala!) and found that I like Anderson and Mycroft of my Sherlock teas. LOL I sent the Harry Potter teas to Toblass for her birthday, so I hope she enjoys hers as well.
