As my mom says, "Well, you're another year older, but at least you're still on the right side of the grass!"

Thanks to everyone who has sent birthday greetings, birthday wishes, and birthday prezzies, most especially rivertempest who sent me a mug with some gorgeous Severus art and the most incredible selection of teas I have ever seen, based on Supernatural, complete with special thingy for steeping!



Bobby Singer's blend has actual gunpowder in it. I'm a little worried about that one :O

And my dear Mr Psmith, who took me out to a NOMZ dinner and bought me the most lovely roses ever which currently have pride of place on the piano:

Remember, remember, the fifth of November, the treason and gunpowder... tea? The teas, infuser, and mugs are wonderful- what a fabulous gift! I'm so happy you had such a splendid birthday! May it be the first day of an awesome year of your life! And I love that your roses match your tin whistle (is that a C whistle? If so, that's the one we have, too!).

Thank you! I had not noticed that the roses match the whistle, but how lovely :) I believe it's a C, but it might be a D -- between the two of us we have a LOT of them. Thanksgiving Day the niece and nephews discovered the stash of instruments -- whistles, harmonica, etc. -- stored inside the piano seat, and all was tuneful havoc for about 45 minutes :)
