Is that when Harry does the pincer scene when they find Aragog? One of my favorite ones.

Zooming along is the perfect way to describe him on Felix. I loved that as well. You need to put some Lego guys in that tank.

I don't think it's the eyes; I think it's all the legs, and just how quickly they can move. Even I, though I love and respect spiders, am leery of handling them for this reason. But I do love their unique beauty, and they can't be beat for keeping the insect population down around Manderly. The spiders that venture indoors somehow seem to know intuitively to stay off the floor. We let them be, and on cleaning day Paul and I will warn one another about where the spiders are so that we don't accidentally hurt them. We have free-range spiders. ;-)

My brother had a friend who was a hospice nurse. One of her patients was quite worried for his tarantula. He wanted her to be well cared for.

Brother's friend ended up taking her. Spider was named Peaches. She was quite pretty, especially just after her moult.

Okay you my friend have straaaange pets. I think I will stick to my two cute (obnoxious) cats who like to attack my feet in the middle of the night.

Nooooooooo. I already have to unwillingly share my home with a horde of arachnid roommates, cannot imagine willingly adding a spawn of Ungoliant to the mix (although brown recluses are probably just very small spawns of Ungoliant).

Do you have a Phial of Galadriel stashed somewhere so that if it gets loose you can drive it back into the primeval darkness?
