So much better than CSI

I have no idea how I ended up reading a story about Peaches Geldof (daughter of musician Bob Geldof), but I did. And I found this sentence fragment:

"Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate"

It just doesn't get any more British than that :)

Oh, wow, that's a fantastic name and title! Sounds like it belongs in a crime novel. Fotheringham might be the most British last name I've ever heard:)

I know what you mean! TheHubs™ worked for Scotland Yard for 25 years. He was in the Special Crimes Unit Homicide Division, but before that he worked in Special Branch, or as one of the commanding officers used to call it, "Special Bwaunch".

And since I haven't slept enough fo a while my thoughts goes straight to Monty Python and John Cleese introducing himself with a title as long and tounge knotting like that.
