Oops I did it again

I might have claimed a prompt over on [livejournal.com profile] sshg_promptfest. Heh heh heh. And TWO of my prompts have been claimed ::preens::

On another fun note, I discovered something called Starship Sofa: The Audio Science Fiction Magazine. It's narrated by a couple of funny and fabulously-accented (I could listen to them all night) Irish guys, who are also well-read, interesting, and thoughtful in their analysis of various SF people and things. This particular post has a long two-part piece on one of my favorite authors, Stephen R. Donaldson, including a reading of his story "Mythological Beast."

Torn between Promptfest and Holmestice. Unwise to do both, if tempting as hell. If only I could write short things!

It's not on the short-list of prompts that I might have started over a week ago just in case I decided to participate, mostly because it feels like things I've already written. But there are a few that haven't been claimed yet...

I haven't read the rules, so I don't even know if I'm allowed since I didn't submit any prompts. I'm assuming so, but will double-check before e-mailing.

IF I DECIDE TO DO IT. WHICH I MAY. OR MAY NOT.

I MAY HAVE DONE IT.

THAT IS, IF I AM ALLOWED TO CLAIM PROMPTS WITHOUT HAVING SUBMITTED ANY.

STUPID AWESOME PROMPTS.

Absolutely you can!

I currently have a sad, because none of mine have been nabbed yet. But the one I've picked up is ... interesting.

Eee!!! I just got my assignment, and it was my first choice prompt! SO EXCITED! I really like this one and think I can do some fun stuff with it. I'm glad yours is interesting at the very least :D

I was surprised by how many great prompts in the 200s hadn't yet been claimed, especially given that every single one of my short list that was below 100 was claimed by the time I sent in my request. It makes me suspect that some people jumped on the first prompts they liked in order to get their first choice instead of reading all the way through. Ah well. More good prompts for johnny-come-latelys like me!

I might have claimed a prompt as well...
