Thank you, Bob and Dan

Tested two of my recent short stories in the writing analyzer mentioned by [livejournal.com profile] stellamoon and [livejournal.com profile] ladyoneill. Pretty funny what it spit out. As a quality check, I went to Project Gutenberg and grabbed some Dickens and Twain. After removing any identifiable names (e.g. Tom Sawyer) I tested them and it got both of them correct, so it's not too far off, I guess.

I'm not quite sure how one manages to write like BOTH these people, but hey, they're both big sellers, so maybe I'm doing OK. Although Dan Brown may not be the highest literary praise, Robert Louis Stevenson isn't bad :)

Hee! I got Margaret Atwood and Arthur Conan Doyle, and when I put in the porniest thing I'd written, that's when I got Dan Brown. NICE.

Maybe it equates the naughty bits in mine for the self-flagellating bits in The Da Vinci Code? At least, I think there was some flagellating going on.

AHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAH

Now you're messing with Wikipedia's "not to be confused with." Catastrophic Internet paradox!

My husband did the meme with his latest paper and came up with Dan Brown and William Shakespeare. GOD THE POSSIBILITIES ARE LIMITLESS. I want my self-flagellating Shylock!

They're both popular authors writing about religion separated by 200ish years?

Do you write about religion a lot?

I might try entering some of mine later, but I suspect my recent short stories are going to return a result of Joan Collins...
