Curiosity is four

And it sings itself "Happy birthday," all alone on Mars, which kind of makes me cry.

Still super cool, though :)

One day we'll go to Mars, we'll pick up Spirit, power it up and turn it back on.

And that will be an awesome day.

(Either that or it'll go psycho and become The Terminator)

Yes, people are pretty quick on this sort of thing. :)

This said, thank goodness the song is in the public domain now.

Awww, poor lil Curiosity! Happy Birthday kiddo!
That video made me laugh so hard.
Scientist Lady: Music brings us all together so this is fun.
NJS: Who are you trying to convince, lady?
LOL

Aw, this is so cool/sad.

Four years already! I remember how the Young Man and I sat up to watch the NASA live stream of the landing and cheered along with Mohawk Guy and all the rest of the beautiful nerdy NASA folks. Such fun.

If anime cyborgs and androids can feel and have birthdays, why not Rovers too? Don't fret too, if Rover was in anime there are plenty of folk for a party! :)
