Ok ... thank you for clarifying. I'm not tech savy enough about DW to look into the details.

I only joined LJ to get access to journals where I could 'acquire' movies, tv shows, music etc without resorting to torrents. And now, the oldest LJ communities for that is shutting down in Feb. The demise of megaupload was the start of it all.
