She (Walpurga) was also the sister of my personal patron Willibald. He and his brother, Winebald, were the first Englishmen (Anglo Saxons) to visit the Holy Land, and were both made missionary bishops in Germany by Pope Boniface. Walpurga followed her brothers to Germany where she set up a nunnery.
