Date: 2012-02-28 03:50 pm (UTC)There was an article on the local paper yesterday about the local school district, some teacher pushing her/his own politics and religion on students and what should be done about it. The comments devolved into this huge 'liberal teachers are everywhere trying to indoctrinate our children' mess. Oh, and if you're conservative and out about it, you'll lose your job.
I don't think I had any clue what any of my teachers politics or religion was. I'm pretty sure you can't be fired for a political leaning. And, hell, Lawrence isn't as liberal as it was in our day anyway!
I'm kind of hoping Santorum gets the nod because Obama is a shoe in then. It's like the Republicans are trying to shoot themselves in their own feet with their options!
