delphipsmithI love, love, love this book and always have. She does it even better in This Star Shall Abide, but this one's near enough to our own world that it touches me closer to the heart. I know I'm weird; most people don't like philosophy and ethics mixed in with their adventures or romances or what have you. Me, that's the first thing I go for. If there were a "philosophical fiction" section at B&N, that's where I'd be. If I ran a used book store, I'd have a special shelf for "books that make you actually THINK." 'Nuff said.
