I have family visiting for a couple of weeks so will be mostly AWOL for the time being, but hope to be back online more regularly later in the month. Meanwhile:

It's National Poetry Month! I invite one and all to visit my friend's blog, The Poetry Playground, where she posts a poem a day for the entire month, and loves comments on them :)

Glad I did. I enjoyed the poems posted so far. I especially liked the first one "You See I Want A Lot". My favorite lines were:


"So many live on and want nothing,

and are raised to the rank of prince

by the slippery ease of their light judgments.

But what you love to see are faces
that do work and feel thirst.

You love most of all those who need you

as they need a crowbar or a hoe.”


I think that just sums up the spirit of the times. I left a comment. Thanks for the rec!
