I used to live in a more rural area, and we had a momma racoon who would bring her babies to our bird feeder. It was right outside our front window, which was low to the ground, so you could peer out and see them all right there with their little hands moving through the dirt, searching for dropped seed. Your video brought back nice memories of watching them! Adorable!
Daw baby furries. Better than when I was on campus where the adults either get drunk off the recycling bin bottles, or think it was a good idea taking on the skunks. :P
D'awwww! I could even hear the "irritation chirp" of a cardinal in the background, ticked off at the interlopers. They remind me of a family of raccoons we had in our yard the year before last. A mother and four cubs (They are in the bear family; you can see it in their walk.). They used to love to come to our pond at night and play in the "splashy thing" (our fountain). And needless to say, they found our compost pile a smorgasbord. Thanks for sharing this!
Eeee!!!! They are amazing!! Thank you for posting this video of adorableness!! We used to get a family of raccoons on our tray feeder in IL as well. We liked them so much we'd put leftovers out for them. Well, the two-legged members of the house liked them. The four-legged member of the house growled and whined and was generally very concerned.
