Forget the candy and costumes -- give me vintage horror movies! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

TCM is doing a marathon today through Monday. We just finished watching "The Blob" (1958) and now "Village of the Damned" (1960) is on, squeee!!! Also on the schedule, among others: House of Wax, Cat People, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, To the Devil a Daughter, The Mummy, Black Sabbath... I can hardly contain my glee :) I may have to call in sick to work on Monday lol

Here in Barcelona a lot of the kids are very well dressed up for the night already and many have some great outfits. !Sinistras y sinistros!

BTW that's a great movie list. Reminds of the old Channel 7 Friday Night Midnight Horror Movie features that I grew up with (and introduced me to some superb classy B-grade flicks)...

I've seen a large number of horror movies, though I admit, it's not my fav genre. Still, that's a grand line-up.

I am so glad I saw this post! I just flipped stations.
Tomorrow, the 1939 "Hunchback of Notre Dame" is the one I think my grandmother took me to when I was about four years old. I can remember is scaring me so badly that for five more years I always had to sleep with the light on.

That's the beauty of Halloween is that you can enjoy it in so many ways! I saw Ghostbusters last night again once home as I'm more for horror with some comedy as I'm a scaredy cat.

FANTASTIC! We had some decent 60s-70s horror movie delights on a local channel, all goofy/gory and all new to me: The Eyes of Laura Mars (Faye Dunaway has visions); Die, Die, My Darling (Tallulah Bankhead as Crazy Granny); The Mephisto Waltz (Alan Alda and wtf idek what was going on with this one). All highly/lowly recommended!
